Job Summary: The Product
Manager will maximize short and long term shareholder value by creating and
implementing both a 3-year strategic product roadmap for Cash Management
products in country as well as an annual operating plan that will enable the
business, from a product perspective, to exceed all financial and non-financial
goals. The strategic planning, product design, product management and product
performance of     Mobile Money as
determined by customer needs, customer value propositions, the competitor
environment and business needs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Product Manager job placement should
    preferably hold a Bachelor of Business Administration or related
    qualification from a related university
  • Past
    experience managing a P&L
  • At
    least three to five years of product management experience
  • Relevant
    client and/or geographical experience
  • Past
    involvement with industry bodies advantageous
  • Preferably
    5-10 years in financial services
  • Experience
    working in/across multiple geographic locations advantageous
  • Familiarity
    with Corporate and Investment Banking 
    product set
  • Strong
    Transaction Banking knowledge.
  • Basic
    understanding of balance sheet and financials
  • Good
    business skills
  • Ability
    to successfully manage a wide range of concurrent initiatives.
