Examinations Board (UBTEB) is one of the national Examinations Boards in Uganda
whose mandate is to streamline, regulate, coordinate and conduct credible
examinations and award Certificates and Diplomas in the Business, Technical and
Vocational professions. The Board therefore conducts Business, Technical and
Vocational examinations, including Applied Science specialties such as
Biological Sciences (Agricultural, Fisheries, Wildlife, Forestry, Bee keeping
and other related fields), Physical Sciences (Meteorology, Surveys and Land
Management, and other related fields), Cooperative, Social Development, Hotel,
Catering and Tourism.
Entry Clerk will perform a variety of general clerical duties. The incumbent
will be required to both take direction and work intuitively to support the
completion of the different departments’ goals and objectives in a
professionally and culturally appropriate manner.
- Carry
out clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving
visitors, arranging documents, and organizing offices/meeting venue; - Create
database and/or processes to accomplish tasks; - Establish
entry priorities by maintain understanding what need to be entered first; - Enter
clients’ data into prescribed database software; - Perform
document/candidates’ photo scanning - Check
source documents against entered data to ensure data integrity at every
state; - Produce
automated data entry and integration reports when requested - Prepare
statistical reports based on maintained data on a periodic basis. - Perform
any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- The
applicant must hold a relevant Diploma (in any field examinable by
the Board). Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree (in any field examinable by the Board) shall be an added
advantage; - Computer literacy skills i.e. conversant with
MS office
interested candidates hand deliver three sets of handwritten applications with
detailed CVs and photocopies of academic certificates, testimonials,
transcripts and/or result slips; three (3) most recent and clear passport size
photographs, names and addresses of two referees, a letter of recommendation
from the current or most recent employer, telephone contacts and emails of both
the applicant and the referees. The Job title and Ref. No. should be clearly
written on the top left corner of the envelope. The documents should be
submitted in sealed envelopes to the address indicated below;
