Entebbe Handling Services,
ENHAS has been in existence since April 1996. Along the years, our clientele
has grown from 5 Airlines to 19 regular scheduled Airlines, and many more
special flights. To develop quality services, ENHAS have organized to be
certified by IATA Airport Handling Manual 804 where we enter into Service Level
Agreements, ISAGO (IATA safety Audit for Ground Operations) which acts as a
model for operational risk and safety management, DGR (Dangerous Goods
Regulations) training centre thus we offer training for dangerous goods and,
very recently by RA3 to screen cargo only from validated entities as required
by EU regulations.
Job Summary: The Network
Administrator provides an efficient and secure network that supports and
assists end users to perform their duties while ensuring a controlled and
secure computer systems environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages
    the company’s network infrastructure like routers, switches, network
    cables, etc.
  • Manages
    company’s computer antivirus system;
  • Regularly
    updates all software and security patches on end-user computers;
  • Manages
    all company biometric access control systems;
  • Provides
    support for the company’s CCTV installations;
  • Maintains
    company’s telephone and radio systems;
  • Maintains
    company’s X-ray Inspection Systems;
  • Provides
    on-site and remote technical support to all users, including responding to
    emergency on-call requests when the need arises.
  • Creates
    and maintains good technical documentation of the IT environment;
  • Performs
    any other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant for the ENHAS Network Administrator job must hold a Bachelor of
    Science Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; Cisco
    Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification
    an added advantage.
  • A
    minimum of three years of hands-on experience with corporate computer
    networks administration, installations and provision of end-user support.
  • Knowledge
    of server hardware, TCP/IP networking and monitoring tools.
  • Candidate
    should possess strong organization, communication and analytic skills.
  • High
    degree of integrity and ethics is a must.
