Corporation (UPPC) is a body corporate established by the UPPC Act 1992 Cap.30
as a leading Government printer mandated to provide printing and publishing
facilities to the government ministries, departments, and parastatal bodies
.private companies, individuals and organizations. The corporation prints and
publishes all government legislation and documents and undertakes security
printing works.
Job Summary: The Manager,
Human Resource and Administration will plan, implement, manage, monitor and appraise
the corporation’s human resource and administrative systems and policies in
line with the prevailing labour law and best practice with the aim of capacitating the corporation to deliver
its services effectively and efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Keenly monitor the implementation of human
    resource policy.
  • Monitor implementation of the human resource
    records and information system.
  • Prepare and implement internal and external
    human resources recruitment plans.
  • Monitor preparation and implementation of
    orientation and on-boarding programs.
  • Monitor the review and implementation of the
    compensation and reward system.
  • Monitor Implementation of the performance
    management system.
  • Monitor the preparation and implementation of
    the training and development plans.
  • Implement the discipline and grievance handling
    procedures in the firm.
  • Monitor employee relations and welfare issues.
  • Implement employee separation and termination
    processes.
  • Prepare assets register and implement systems
    for safeguarding properties and assets of UPPC.
  • Prepare periodic human resource and
    administration reports.
  • Supervise and appraise subordinate staff in line with the
    performance management policy.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate should preferably hold a Master’s degree in
    HRM or Organizational psychology or Development or Business Administration
    (HR track) or Public Administration from reputable institutions.
  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or
    Industrial & Organizational Psychology or Human Resource Management or
    Business Management (HR option) Studies;
  • Membership to any Human Resource body is an
    added advantage.
  • Six years of related experience; of which 2 should have been at mid-level
    management level in a similar agency.
