Uganda Central Co-operative
Financial Services (UCCFS) is a tertiary co-operative that provides financial
and non-financial services to all types of Co-operatives (Apexes, Unions,
SACCOs, RPOs, ACEs, and other primary Co-operatives) in Uganda.
Financial Services (UCCFS) is a tertiary co-operative that provides financial
and non-financial services to all types of Co-operatives (Apexes, Unions,
SACCOs, RPOs, ACEs, and other primary Co-operatives) in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting
UCCFS Member Co-operatives to functionalize their core banking software - Ensuring
that UCCFS Member Co-operatives effectively and efficiently utilize their
respective banking software - Provide
technical back up to UCCFS and Member Co-operatives in ICT related
services - Support
UCCFS and member SACCOs in networking computers - Manage
UCCFS M.I.S dash board to ensure efficient utilization of the services - Ensure
compliance to ICT manual/Policy by UCCFS staff and Member co-operatives - Monitoring
and Supervision of all UCCFS Member Co-operatives connected to the dash
board - Mobilizing
more Co-operatives to join UCCFS and embrace Digital Financing - Ensure
increase in uptake of Digital Financing Services (DFS) by members of UCCFS
Member Co-operatives - Act
as a link between the Software service provider and UCCFS Member
Co-operatives
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the Information and Communications Technology Manager
career opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and
Communications Technology (ICT) - A
minimum of three years of practical experience in ICT Related fields at a
managerial level - Experience
in use of SAVINGS PLUS Software is added advantage. - Ability
to work under pressure and on multiple tasks with minimum supervision. - Age: 25 to 35 years
