Uganda
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational
support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction,
infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief
and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and
development-orientation areas.
Supervisors/ Assistant Engineers are responsible for the implementation,
control and Completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with agreed
strategy, commitments and goals
- The
applicant for the AIRD Site Supervisor/ Assistant Engineer job must hold a
Diploma in Civil and Building engineering from a reputable Institution. - Two
years of working experience in civil works - Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability
to work under pressure with minimum supervision. - Experience
in the use of computers and specialized software packages (MS Word, Excel,
etc.) and other database packages related to construction - Broad
knowledge, understanding and experience of civil works
