Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deal directly with customers either by
telephone, electronically or face to face - Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to
handle product and service
inquiries - Provide pricing and delivery information
- Perform customer verifications
- Process orders, and requests
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the
designated members - Keep records of customer interactions and
transactions - Record details of inquiries, comments and
complaints - Record details of actions taken
- Prepare and distribute customer activity
reports - Maintain customer databases
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant must hold a Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce or
marketing related field. - Two
years’ experience in sales-related fields - Previous
experience with the private sector in a similar is position is highly
preferred - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal
communication skills (excellent communication and presentation skills). - Demonstrable ability to identify customer needs
and present benefits to meet customer needs and overcome objections. - Demonstrable ability to obtain and analyze market information.
- Ability to work effectively with other regional
functions/teams in support of the customers. - Negotiation skills.
- Selling and business acumen skills.
- Customer focused and ability to build strong relationships.
- Results focused
