About FH:
Food for the Hungry (FH) is a
Christian international relief and development organization that has been
working in Uganda since 1989. FH’s primary goal is to respond to development
needs and complex humanitarian emergencies. FH is currently operating programs
in more than 26 countries and has national offices in the UK, Canada,
Switzerland, Korea, United States of America and Japan. In Uganda, FH is
operational in the communities of Pader, Kitgum, Lamwo, Agago, Kole, Kween,
Mbale, and Mukono Districts implementing programs in four main sectors of
Education; Food Security and livelihoods; Health/Nutrition and Disaster Risk
Reduction; with the Head office located it Kampala.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination
and organizational operations enhancement - Oversight
and general management of administrative units - Finance,
Human Resources, Procurement and IT Policies and Procedures - Grant
management - Audit
and compliance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration
(Preferably in Finance) - At
least ten years of experience out of which four years should be on a
managerial position preferably in NGO or INGO setting - Experience
in dealing with institutional donors, like USAID, DFID, UN, etc - Highly
developed leadership, influencing and communication skills, internal
marketing and demonstrable capability in relationship building at all
levels. - Experience
in performing audits and reviewing- controls and systems - Vibrant
personal relationship with Christ - Sun
systems, MS-word and MS-excel knowledge - Proficiency
in spoken and written English.
