Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
Export Marketing Executive (Services) will conduct market
research, and marketing intelligence on selected Ugandan services of
export potential - Support and facilitate private sector in
accessing technical and advisory services on product, and supply development, and value addition
to meet export standards, quality control and assurance requirements - Organise and participate in national, regional,
and international export promotional activities (buyer-seller meetings,
product-specific fairs, exhibitions, Expos, etc.)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the Uganda Export Promotions Board (UEPB) Export
Marketing Executive (Services) job placement must be a Ugandan who holds an
Honors Bachelors’ Degree in any of the following: Marketing, International
Business, Logistics Management, Economics, Agriculture or IT related
courses from a recognized awarding University or Institution. Professional
qualifications in Marketing, or Logistics Management is added advantage. - A
minimum of three years’ experience in marketing in a reputable
organization. Private sector experience in the services sector is an added
advantage. - Excellent research and project development
skills - Proven capacity and experience in dealing with
the private sector at both local and international levels - Excellent documentation, analytical,
communication skills and interpersonal skills. - Have
knowledge of intellectual property and branding.
