is mainly responsible for ensuring and providing total adherence to
organizational and regulatory requirements by ensuring all pharmaceutical
operations of the organization are run in a professional manner under the
standards and guidelines of the pharmaceutical society of Uganda (PSU) and
National Drug Authority (NDA), as well as the quality control and assurance
guidelines of Marie Stopes International.
- Ensure quality and compliance status of
the warehouse/pharmacy. - Ensure compliance with QTA assessment
- Prepare and file licensing and
certification documents for the warehouse on annual basis to ND and PSU. - Conduct facility self-inspection audits
using PSU and NDA inspection checklist to assess for compliance to good
pharmacy practices. - Prepare Correction Action and Preventive
Action plans (CAPA) in response to PSU and NDA audits to NDA. - Coordinate GMP inspections of supplier
plants. - Coordinate all supply chain activities
with respect to storage and ware housing practices are followed and
develop a storage chart for the various classes of goods e.g cold chain
products, products stored away from light e.t.c - Make various activity and periodic
reports. - Put in place and monitor systems to
ensure proper inventory controls at the ware house i.e track expiries,
stock card balances, minimum balances and bulk stock. - Conduct visual inspection of medicines
and medical supplies at the warehouse to assess products for any suspected
counterfeit or substandard goods.
- The
applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, registered with
Pharmacy Board and a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda. - At least
two years of experience in similar industry in a busy environment - Excellent analytical
skills, be a team player, flexible and works under minimal supervision. - Keen attention to detail.

demonstrate MSIU values. - Ability to
demonstrate a can-do attitude.
