participation and youth employment and livelihoods.
About Feed the Future Program:
Feed the Future, the U.S.
Government’s global hunger and food security initiative, is establishing a foundation
for lasting progress against global hunger. The Feed the Future Uganda Youth
Leadership for Agriculture is a 5 year Activity which will support Ugandan
partners, with youth in the lead, to identify and drive forward sustainable,
inclusive, and cost-effective approaches that put youth, especially female
youth, squarely in the agriculture sector as leaders, farmers, entrepreneurs,
and employees. The purpose of this flagship activity is to increase economic
opportunities for approximately 350,000 Ugandan female and male youth ages 10
to 35 in agriculture-related fields, in order to increase their incomes and
build their entrepreneurship, leadership, and workforce readiness skills.
Job Summary: The Partnerships
Liaison Interns will be part of the YLA Technical Implementation team. This
team identifies, develops, manages and maintains partner relationships in
pursuance of their business objectives. Team members continuously identify
areas where YLA can add value to the partner’s business interests and work with
the partners towards enriching areas of mutual interest.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Partnership Liaison Interns will be involved in the following areas:
  • Coaching
    and mentoring of partners in business development services and other
    partner training requirements.
  • Support/participate
    in data entry and cleaning.
  • Keenly
    review partners’ data weekly and produce performance reports.
  • Support
    the regional office staff with thetraining of partners.
  • Participate
    in partner support and supervision visits.
  • Actively
    participate in the development of weekly partnership highlights, monthly
    and quarterly reports.
  • Support
    documentation of partnership development processes.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicants for the Partnerships Liaison Intern jobs should have completed
    a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any relevant field
  • Age: Between 19-25 years
