technology provider linking active boda-boda riders to potential customers
through an App. The client has partners from New Zealand and Indonesia and
rolling out in Africa.
Job Summary: The Trainer will
conduct training for new recruits and refreshers for existing Bodas (Health and
Safety, traffic rules, Customer Service & as need arises).
Complete evaluation sheet at end of each training
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·        
Create training manuals for trainings identified.
·        
Work closely with On-boarding Manager to create
training rosters.
·        
Depending on the feedback received from users,
regular refresher training needs to be organized.
·        
Completion and submission of evaluation form at
the end of each training session (New & Refresher)
·        
Occasional visit to the market to understand the
deficiencies of the Bodas and then strategies the training needs.
·        
Be part of the morning briefing with Bodas if
any at the office.
·        
Attend weekly and monthly leadership meetings
and to contribute effectively.
Key Performance Indicators:
·        
Ensure 100% of all new on-boarded Bodas be
trained, certified and documentation completed
·        
Ensure 100% of all documents are completed,
signed off by Office Manager and filed before commencement of Boda
·        
100% attendance for all leadership meetings
·        
Zero errors for daily payment disbursed
·        
Petty Cash checked and balanced each week
·        
All customer complaints responded in 24 Hours’
time



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  
·        
The Trainer must hold a bachelor’s degree in
business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
·        
At least two to three years of experience as a trainer.
·        
Computer literacy i.e. well versed in Ms. Office.
·        
Excellent communication skills, proficient in
English, Swahili and Luganda.
·        
Worked in small team.
·        
Touchtyping.
·        
Previous experience in creating training manuals
&slides.
·        
Familiarity with business principles and
practices with superior attention to details.
·        
Age: Below 30 years.
