Job Summary: The Sponsorship
Systems Coordinator will provide technical support and Management to
Sponsorship Systems, Business processes and Data/ information in a manner that
contributes to the wellbeing of children.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Sponsorship Systems Technical Management and Support
  • Manage sponsorship technical and Business
    systems within the World Vision Set standards and guidelines.
  • Provide sponsorship systems technical
    support and maintenance to all Area Programs and National Office users.
  • Keenly monitor and support proper
    management / utilization of sponsorship systems and hardware’s
  • Ensure timely and accurate technical
    services are delivered to APs.
  • Ensure and monitor proper Configurations
    of sponsorship systems application for all AP for smooth transferring and
    remission of Sponsorship data and information
  • Collaborate with the National and cluster
    system users and follow up the timely assigning of correspondences –
    Annual Progressive Reports and Christmas Cards in to system and support to
    develop solutions to operational challenges
Maintenance of Sponsorship Systems:
  • Carry out timely system maintenance and
    updates as per NO guidelines
  • Monitor Sponsorship Systems performance
    and Functionality and support reconciliation processes, system Upgrade to
    new versions and raise tickets for issues beyond National Office
  • Carry out periodical systems hardware
    maintenance in cluster / AP offices either through timely remote virtue
    support and field visits to resolve systems challenges
  • Ensure proper Installations &
    reinstallation of Sponsorship systems and Horizon for all Area Programs is
    accomplished in accordance to operating procedures and partnership
    standards.
  • Monitor security and manage risk regarding
    child information and data including backup of child information/data,
    physical, logical and soft/hardware security.
  • Carry out routine preview and maintenance
    of sponsorship computer databases, hardware and child information
Capacity Building:
  • Plan and carry out periodical Sponsorship
    Systems and Business Capacity building trainings and orientations to all
    staff and volunteers effective use of systems
  • Conduct sponsorship systems & business
    training need assessment, analyze and interpret for management decision
    and implementation.
  • Develop / Update / adapt Sponsorship
    systems user Training materials and user guides on sponsorship systems and
    related business processes.
  • Facilitate capacity development and
    awareness towards Piloting and implementing of new sponsorship partnership
    systems initiatives.
System quality Assurance and Reporting:
  • Facilitate periodic RC Data reconciliation
    and Managing variance with Global Center and Support Office support
  • Conduct and support National and GC
    upgrades and data migrations trucking and reporting trends and informing
    management for any decision making
  • Provide support to Sponsorship business
    processes such as printing out variance reports, Child Status Reports,
    Project reports, as well as tracking of images and videos
  • Generate and consolidate periodical
    Reconciliation Reports for reflection and management action



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the World Vision
    Sponsorship Systems Coordinator job opportunity should hold a University
    Degree information Technology, Computer Science or related field from a
    recognized university. Other qualifications in computer networking,
    information security and database systems will be an added advantage.
  • Certification and knowledge in data base
    management, A+, MCDST, ECDL, MCSE, CCNA are added advantage
