Lutheran World Relief is a US non-profit organization that works with
local partners to provide lasting solutions to poverty, injustice and human
suffering. LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them
to realize their potential, to build on their assets, and to respond to their
own problems and needs. LWF Uganda currently has five areas of operation in
Pader, Kitgum, Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule, Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle staff welfare matters, grievance
    and disciplinary procedures; Managing the recruitment process end to end;
  • Handle and support Line Managers in the
    Performance Management process;
  • The jobholder will review and update staff
    policies in line with the organisation’s mission and ensuring compliance
    to labour laws and best practices;
  • Maintaining employee records and
    documentation e.g. staff contracts, annual leave and sick leave management;
    Staff Training and identifying training development areas;
  • Handling staff exit procedures e.g.
    conducting exit interviews;
  • Tasked with managing staff safety
    procedures and processes;
  • Maintaining and supporting open
    communication channels tor organisation and other stakeholders;
  • HR Administrative duties



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Lutheran World
    Relief (LWR) Senior Administrator/HR career opportunity should hold a
    University degree in business administration or social science with bias
    in human resource management is essential OR Diplomas in Human Resource;
  • A minimum of five years’ experience
    working in Administration and Human Resource Management in a reputable
    organization with a multicultural character; Previous exposure in an
    international NGO preferred.
