Job Summary: The Programme
Manager – Education will manage the strategic development, implementation and
successful delivery of the Education Programme in order to optimise VSO’s
contribution towards improving learning outcomes of most marginalised and
vulnerable children in Uganda. This opportunity will suit an experienced and
programme oriented individual who is ready for new challenges.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should hold a relevant
degree, in Education, Social work studies, Development studies with
experience and knowledge of Uganda Education System. - At least five years’ experience in
managing and delivering complex Education development programmes and
teams. - Excellent understanding and experience of
project cycle management, organisational assessment, planning and M&E
tools and processes. - Proven experience of securing external
funding and grants, including proposal development. - Practical experience gained within a
volunteering/NGO context and working within an international team
