Job Summary: The Operator –
Packaging will safely operate Packaging machine/s according to SOP, monitor and
control the process to produce a consistent product of the right quality first
time and at optimum cost. Person in this position should be able to competently
run at least three packaging machines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with safety, health
and environmental policies and procedures at all times.

- Operate
the Packaging plant and equipment; including the necessary preparations,
pant start-up, running, shut down and executing the necessary plant
cleaning - Keenly
monitor and control the process; responsible for measuring and recording
performance attributes, monitoring and evaluating trends, assuring
quality of inputs, and initiate corrective action. - Apply
the Voyager Plant Optimization (VPO) principles and practices such as
applying 5S standards and practices in the workplace, operating and
controlling the process according to SOP’s; and conducting
autonomous maintenance - Maintain
a safe and healthy working environment through complying with safe, health
and environmental procedures and legislation. - Support
the overall Packaging team initiatives and arrangements in
leveraging Prosper initiatives in the department. - Actively
contribute to team problem solving and decision making - Customer
care and service in line with company values.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The
applicant must hold an Ordinary diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical
engineering or a related field. - One
year of experience preferably in a Foods and Beverages Industry - Must
be hardworking - Honest
and self-motivated - Ability
to work in shifts. - Must
be dynamic & a good team Player - High
integrity and attention to detail.
