About US:
Lutheran World Relief is a US non-profit organization that works with
local partners to provide lasting solutions to poverty, injustice and human
suffering. LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them
to realize their potential, to build on their assets, and to respond to their
own problems and needs. LWF Uganda currently has five areas of operation in
Pader, Kitgum, Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule, Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Lutheran World
    Relief (LWR) Project Officer Malaria career opportunity should hold a
    Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, health sciences, development or related
    discipline;
  • At least two years’ experience working in
    public health research project implementation;
  • Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate a
    team of technical and non-technical staff within a project;
  • Significant experience in project
    management and organizational work;



  • Previous experience of working closely
    with government and non-government partners to successfully deliver on
    project objectives;
  • Excellent training skills and supervision
    skills;
  • Excellent communication, report writing
    and presentation skills are essential
