About US:
The National Drug Authority (NDA) is an autonomous body which was
established by the National Drug Policy and Authority Act Cap 206 , Laws of
Uganda (2000 Edition) to regulate Human and Veterinary Medicines and other
healthcare products. NDA’s mandate is to ensure quality, safety and efficacy of
human and veterinary medicines and other healthcare products through the
regulation and control of their production, importation, distribution and use.
Job Summary: The Court Clerk
will provide administrative support to the Department of Legal Services
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·        
Effecting
service of court process within the law and other necessary documents as may be
requested
·        
Prepare
documents falling within this domain such as affidavits of service and
others
·        
Getting
documents commissioned and witnessed
·        
Fixing
of cases for hearing
·        
Tasked
with making payment of stamp duty and other statutory fees or charges
·        
The
incumbent also compiles lists of litigation cases and update them
regularly
·        
Keep
the diary of NDA court cases and bring it to the attention of the Legal Officer
·        
The
jobholder will serve and receive court summons on behalf of the Legal Services
Department.

Perform
any other duties as assigned from time to time by Supervisor. Education  A



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·        
The ideal candidate for the National Drug
Authority (NDA) Court Clerk job placement should preferably hold a diploma in law from the Law development
Center
·        
Hold
a valid process server’s certificate
·        
At
least two (2) years working experience in a similar position
·        
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·        
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
applications.
·        
High
degree of integrity
