Job Summary: The Cashier
will be in charge of processing all cash transactions accurately and
efficiently in accordance with the established policies and procedures. You
will also handle financial transactions including but not limited to
collections and disbursements to Trainees, Volunteers, staff and vendors. The successful
candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction
and revenue growth objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receiving
    and verifying cheques and cash. 
  • Carrying
    out daily routine reconciliation of cash and reporting to management
  • Ensuring
    accountability and submitting replenishment requests on time
  • Updating
    and maintaining records in a quality and efficient manner
  • The
    Cashier will be personally accountable and responsible for the
    safeguarding, controlling and disbursement of cash. 
  • Posting
    all daily transactions in the system and report any anomalies
  • Preparing
    monthly reconciliation reports
  • Pleasantly
    dealing with customers to ensure satisfaction



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  
  • The applicant should preferably hold a Diploma in Accounting
  • At
    least four years’ experience in an accounting role
  • Excellent
    communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent
    bookkeeping skills
  • Computer
    literacy skills
  • Exceptional
    customer care skills
