imaging, Laboratory Checks, Haematology, Sanography, Phlebotomy, Homecare and
Microbiology.
receptionists will provide support to other departments to support the smooth
running of the laboratory. She/he will be the first person a patient will come
in contact with as soon as they come to the laboratory premises.
The Receptionist will manage the office schedule and maintain the organization of patient
records and appointments.
Perform
other front-office clerical duties, such as answering telephones and sorting
through mail.
Tasked
with helping patients fill out medical history charts and other forms, greeting
patients and explaining office procedures.
Gather
patient insurance information and are responsible for knowing various insurance
codes.
Experience:
The
applicants should hold Diplomas or more in any field (medical field is
an added advantage).
Two years
of related work experience
Good customer
service and interpersonal skills well as good time management skills.
Excellent
oral and written communication skills as well as filling and organizational
skills.
Computer
literacy i.e. adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook,
e.t.c).
Demonstrated
ability to use fax machines, calculators, photocopiers, postage machines, and
multi-line phone systems
Fluent
in English and knowledge of at least 2 local languages
She/he must a diverse individual, welcoming,
friendly and with excellent communication skills and be capable of working
individually and in a team environment.
