Manager will primarily manage, plan and implement the Centenary Bank’s
strategic objectives at the branch level by managing the branch team to ensure
business continuity and the constant quality delivery of banking services to
all clients and customers.
The jobholder will implement and monitor the
bank policies at branch level to ensure consistent application by all staff and
where polices have not been applied corrective measures are taken to mitigate
risk and exposure.
Coordinate and monitor the process of
implementing calling of days’ work and submitting next day reviews in line with
banking operation and credit procedures.

Review coordinate, monitor and authorise all
processes of account opening, reactivation, adjustment, transfer and closure of
all accounts in line with bank policies, know your customer guidelines Credit
Reference Bureau and anti-money laundering guidelines.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly and
quarterly performance reports to supervisors and internal stakeholders so as to
communicate progress, highlight issues that may require resolution and
effectively ensuring that the branch performance is on target.
Plan and coordinate the budgeting process,
monitor monthly performance and initiate corrective action.
Develop and implement branch work plans that
reflect and contribute to the strategic plan, ensure that all targets have been
planned for and work activities defined to contribute to business growth.
Plan implement and monitor growth and quality of
branch credit portfolio and the Bank business plan, conduct field visits and
carry out the verification of loans to improve branch portfolio management.
Manage and support the branch teams to ensure
that human resources issues are addressed, performance management issues
identified and supportive action is taken to address gaps identified.
Actively participate and contribute to the
development of the branch level strategic plans so as to ensure that branch
objectives are realistic and achievable
Create a conducive customer service environment
by building strong business relationships with the customers which result in
trust, confidence and contributes to retention and brand loyalty as well
creating platform to receive customer feedback and address customer complaints.
Coordinate and work with the security officer to
ensure that the branch security processes and procedures are closely followed
by all staff avoiding breech in security and endangering the lives of staff and
customers
Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank
Branch Manager job placement should hold an honours Bachelor’s Degree in any
discipline
At least eight years’ experience in the banking
environment at least two of which should have been at supervisory level
(Assistant manager Banking, Credit Administrator or Assistant Manager Credit
and Regional Supervisor)
