Manager is responsible for the management of the Branch office, Supervision of
Branch staff, growing sales and minimizing fraud, building and maintaining
working relationships with stake holders, implementing customer-centric
practices in line with the BFS Policies and Procedures.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring
that all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in relation to sales are met. This
is communicated by Management on a monthly basis. The KPI’s include;
Turnover Targets
Number of Active Sales Supervisors required.
Number of Active Sales Agents required.
Tasked
with monitoring and steering performance of the Branch Office including
supervision of staff;
Stay
abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and
penetration
Preparing
branch activity reports for Head Office consumption/awareness.
Identifying
and recommending staffing and training needs for the Branch, counseling,
coaching, mentoring, advising and reporting on any need for disciplinary action
for staff; appraising staff performance
Approving/signing
petty cash vouchers
Responding
to correspondence from employers and members in the Branch
Tasked
with organizing and holding meetings with staff in the Branch Office
Directing
all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer
service, human resources, administration and sales
Assess
local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales
opportunities
Develop
forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
Meet
goals and metrics
Locate
areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and
leverage growth opportunities
Share
knowledge with other branches and head office on effective practices,
competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
Address
customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
Adhere
to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
Network
to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
Ensuring
that all disbursed loans under your Branch Management are coded and
collected accordingly.
Supervising
the Branch collections team while carrying out their collection duty and
ensuring that all funds collected from the clients are banked into the
company’s account, a copy of the receipt given to the client, a copy
retained and filed at the Branch and another copy sent to Head Office for
reconciliation purposes.
Ensure
all payments schedules for the payments made are collected ad submitted to
credit team for posting.
Visiting
all Off Payroll Clients and making sure those funds are actually collected from
them.
Supervising
proper receipting and recording/documentation of the collected funds from the Branches.
Making
follow ups and ensuring that all received funds are reflected onto the
client’s statement.
Timely
compilation of the required reports on all collected funds from the Branch and forwarding
the report to the responsible officer as per deadline.
Elimination
of any fraud and forgery tendencies by both clients and staff.
Forwarding
any of the above tendencies to the Security Team for action.
Experience:
The applicants
for the Bayport Branch Manager jobs should hold Bachelor’s Degrees in Business
Administration or any other business related course
Possession
of a post graduate training in management is an added advantage.
A minimum
of three years’ experience in a financial institution at a supervisory level.
