Job Summary: The Programmer/Web
Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and Modifying websites,
from layout to function and according to a client’s specifications. Strive to
create visually appealing sites that feature user friendly design and clear
navigation.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:   
·        
Web application design and programming using
languages such as word press, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API’s.
·        
Strongly understanding UI, Cross Browser
Compatibility, general web functions and standards.
·        
Regularly attend meetings with business
Stakeholders and Executive management to present/promote designed
prototypes/ideas.
·        
Strive to create visually appealing sites that
feature user friendly design and clear navigation.
·        
Maintain database/web security and data
integrity through the use of access codes and efficient password system.
·        
Be able to identify potential site users and
design a website to appeal to these constituents.
·        
Writing and editing content as well as designing
webpage layout.
·        
Perform regular data backup, and validate
integrity of data backup.
·        
Perform database automation and script writing.
·        
Systems analysis periodic testing and upgrade to
ensure programs run efficiently and can meet new technology trends.
·        
Ensure availability of accurate documentation of
guidelines and procedures for effectively managing and maintaining the
websites/databases.
·        
Work closely with account managers to fully
understand Client expectations.
·        
Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and
performance reports for the attention of the Manager in charge.
·        
Perform any other duties assigned to you.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  
·        
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other related discipline.
·        
Webmaster skills and an understanding of open
source Database systems.
·        
Good knowledge at Expert level in the use and
implementation of open source Content Management Systems (CMS). One who from
day one can work with WordPress and its plugins, and one, who would be able to
build applets in styling scripting language such as JavaScript, and also
identify existing plugins and be able to modify these to achieve specific
objectives of a task at hand.
·        
For Applicants with expert level skills, there
could be a possibility for a consultancy role where the selected persons work
on their own, off-site and strictly work within the stipulated scope of work,
and be able to meet i3C quality of work standards
·        
Excellent communication skills
·        
Excellent multi-tasking skills that sometimes
require managing one’s own schedule yet being expected to deliver on client
deadlines.
·        
High degree of confidentiality and ability to
handle sensitive information
·        
Ability to work under pressure.
·        
Possession of any other related Certification is
an added advantage.
