Domestic Violence Prevention (CEDOVIP)

Uganda. We work with women, men, government institutions, policy makers, civil
society and the media.
Provide day to day leadership and direction for
staff.
Mentor and guide staff in planning, implementation,
documentation and monitoring of activities.
Actively contribute to the development of
strategic directions for CEDOVIP programming.
Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial
reporting.
Serve as a member of the organization’s
leadership team.
Maintain constructive and respectful
relationships with all partners and stakeholders.
Represent CEDOVIP in national and international
events.
Foster and sustain a positive, innovative,
results-oriented work environment.
Other duties as requested by the Executive
Director.
Experience:
The applicant must hold an MA degree or relevant
experience.
A minimum of eight years of relevant work
experience in violence against women prevention with four years in management.
Excellent writing and computer skills.
Proven commitment to VAW prevention work.
Experience in/familiarity with CEDOVIP
methodologies a plus.
