Officer Bancassurance will take lead in all aspects of the bancassurance
business including but not limited to business growth, revenue assurance,
management of underwriter relationships, operations, service, trainings and
ensuring profitability in line with the Bank’s aspirations.
Formulate the bancassurance strategy and advise
management on its execution and monitor progress on implementation
Sell bancassurance products
Grow revenues from the bancassurance business
Manage relations with partner insurance
companies and other stakeholders
Represent the Bank at conferences, business
meetings and industry events
Ensure that the Bank is in compliance with The
Insurance (Bancassurance) Regulations, 2017
Prepare and submit to the Insurance Regulatory
Authority and the Bank’s management, monthly and annual reports on the
performance of the bancassurance business
Render the necessary assistance to the
policyholders or claimants or beneficiaries in complying with the requirements
for settlement of claims by the insurer
Follow up and respond to any client complaints
and enquiries or claims lodged
Experience:
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in
business or any related field
Possession of a diploma in insurance from the
Chartered Insurance Institute of the United Kingdom or a similar institute.
Marketing and Sales qualifications would be an
advantage.
At least four years working experience in
insurance in the areas of underwriting, claims, finance or regulation
Ability to identify business opportunities from
market intelligence
Ability to analyze business opportunities and
make value-adding recommendations

ability

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A leader and able to build credibility and trust
