Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Assistant (Yard Kiln)
will be responsible for working together with Production Assistant Kilns and
Yard supervisor to ensure that offload space is prepared in time, off-loaders
are well deployed, products are graded as per work instructions and are
properly counted and recorded.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Make sure there is timely consultation and planning
is done to allow for smooth flow of product sorting all the time;

Tasked with compiling the total number of
products expected from the kiln by consulting the kiln loading file.

Ensure that the newly offloaded baked products
are properly graded;

Communicating the Grading work instructions and
procedure to the sorters;

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:

The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree/Diploma in Chemistry or Industrial Ceramics/general engineering with
ceramics as the main subject.

At least two years’ experience in a busy
manufacturing set up will be a plus.

Good knowledge of Ceramics manufacturing
processes: Product firing, combustion and grading. Good knowledge of
physio-chemical characteristics of products, parameters and standards applied
to Clay products manufacturing.
