Coordinator

Assistant will mainly implement field level livestock/livelihood activities
within the designated areas in line with targets and partnership standards in a
manner that contributes to sustained and targeted beneficiaries wellbeing.
The jobholder will provide expertise and
technical assistance in livestock, environment generating Activities and
business development.
The incumbent will also mobilize and facilitate
the engagements of stakeholders during planning and development meetings,
workshops and other fora.
Work closely with livelihood sector unit and
other relevant structures in beneficiary selection.
Identify beneficiary groups, verification and
reporting on livestock management at field levels.
Networking and collaboration with other actors
towards effective implementation of the livestock programme at field levels
Mobilize and support trainings of beneficiaries
on livestock programmes.
Prepare and submit accurate reports to the Cash
Officer
Support in documentation and sharing of
Impact/success stories and best practices to promote learning.
Experience:
The ideal candidate for the World Vision
Livelihood Assistant job opportunity should hold a diploma in agriculture, Animal husbandry/ livestock or veterinary/ agribusiness or any other relevant
discipline.
At least two years’ experience in community work
and engagement Agricultural, Economic Development and Livelihood/livestock
activities
Good entrepreneurship, micro finance and strong
agribusiness skills and strong mobilization skills
Computer literacy skills
Good writing and reporting skills
Excellent networking and influencing skills
Ability to communicate in applicable local
language(s)
Show passion for children.
Good track record demonstrating high integrity,
reliability and dependable
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
