Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·        
Tasked with facilitating various HR forums
geared towards enhancing employee relations
·        
Facilitating recruitment by assisting in the
shortlisting process, participating in interviews, ensuring onboarding
formalities are observed and maintaining recruitment records, document
verification and background checks
·        
Compiling payroll data
·        
In charge of preparing and maintaining employee
files in both hard and soft copy
·        
Drafting employee letters including contracts
and separation letters
·        
Assisting with employee separation formalities
·        
Maintaining HRIS and ensuring HR operational
processes run smoothly including benefits enrollment and termination
·        
Assisting in disciplinary issues including
record keeping of the same
·        
Assisting in driving employee welfare programs
·        
Facilitating team building activities and
assisting in the rewards and recognition program
·        
Preparing and submitting reports as and when
required
·        
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to
time



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree with
at least a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
·        
A minimum of two years’ experience in a HR
generalist position
·        
Computer literacy i.e. working knowledge of MS
Office applications
·        
Good knowledge of Ugandan labour laws.
·        
Hands on experience using HRIS
·        
Have strong communication skills, both verbal
and written
·        
Have good report writing and analytical skills
·        
Demonstrate Keen attention to detail
·        
Have the ability to work with a sense of urgency
and prioritize own work
·        
Have good time-management skills
·        
Have the ability to /interest in communicating
effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and culture
·        
Be a good team player.
·        
Fluent in written and verbal English
