Job Title:       DREAMS Regional Coordinator

About US:
Rakai Health Sciences Program is a collaborative Bio-medical research
and service delivery organization. It strives to improve the quality of life of
the local population through a combination of community based research,
curative services and prevention strategies in the District of Rakai, South
Western Uganda. It is based at the Uganda Virus Research Institute – Entebbe
and Kalisizo in Rakai District.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·        
Offer technical guidance to the district DREAMS
coordinators and the whole team.
·        
Review all district DREAMS budgets, work-plans
and accountabilities. Work with district administrative structures to ensure
smooth running of DREAMS activities in the region Prepare district sub-grants
·        
Keenly review progress reports per DREAMS
district.
·        
Monitor DREAMS performance and reporting in
UDTS, HIBRID and DHIS2
·        
Draft and prepare the DREAMS regional
implementation plan as guided by the respective SOPs
·        
Work in liaison with the Regional Manager,
prepare CBO sub-grants and contracts
·        
Monitors daily reporting of district DREAMS
activities via Slack.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Social Sciences, or related humanities field Master’s degree in Public Health
or Health Services Research
·        
Previous experience with DREAMS programming is
an added advantage
·        
Previous experience working with PEPFAR and
district reporting systems like DHIS2, OVCMIS, and HIBRID is an advantage
·        
Prior experience working with the Uganda DREAMS
Tracking System (UDTS) is an added advantage
·        
Excellent communication and presentation skills
·        
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
·        
Ability to work in a rural and multi-cultural
environment
·        
Ability to work under minimum supervision
