Non-Governmental Aid and development agencies in Germany. We campaign against
worldwide hunger and for sustainable food and nutrition security by promoting
site-appropriate farming, establishing access to clean water, sanitation and
hygiene, improving healthcare and education for people living in rural areas as
well as promoting skills development for youth.
Resilience through Infrastructure, Agriculture and Skills” in Arua, Adjumani
and Yumbe District possibly until end of 2019. The project aims to improve
the livelihood of refugees and local host communities in the settlement areas.
Responsibilities:
Provide support in related procurement,
logistics and fleet management
Coordinate procurement to the specified
guideline
In charge of administrative and logistic
arrangements of project activities
The jobholder will facilitate information
exchange between the project, work partners and other institutions
Schedule the project support staffs’ duty (e.g.
allocating vehicles to drivers)
Manage stock list and inventory of the
organization
Ensure the working of computer software and
hardware
Support the management in personnel management
duties (recruitment and appraisal of staff, development of job j descriptions,
ToR’s)
Ensure compliance of the organization rules and
regulation and requirements
Manage employment and consultant contracts
addendum to contract and job descriptions
Maintain and control the annual leave record
Monitor the project/program finances and arrange
for payments
Provide support in project (annual/monthly)
financial planning
Experience:
The ideal candidate must hold a university
degree in Business Administration or related field
At least three years’ experience in similar
management position with international NGO’s
Excellent organizational skills with ability to
prioritize work with close attention to details even under pressure of
deadlines
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to
manage and supervise office staff
Ability to resolve problems
Excellent oral and written English
Excellent computer skills (Excel and Word)
