About US:
Multi Community Based Development Initiative (MUCOBADI) is a local NGO
founded in 2000 by Community Development Volunteers and currently working in 10
Districts of Bugiri, Mayuge, Buikwe, Butaleja, Budaka, Bududa, Kitgum, Pader,
Lamwo and Abim. MUCOBADI’s current programming focuses on Health, Rights and
Social Accountability, Livelihoods and WASH. Working in partnership with
BANTWANA/World Education, MUCOBADI is implementing a 5-year USAID funded
programme (Better Outcomes for Children and Youth in Eastern and Northern
Uganda Project.
Job Summary: The Monitoring
and Evaluation Assistants will be responsible for the maintenance of project data,
data tools, filing system, ensure accurate and timely entry of project data and
fulfill general M&E function with support from M&E Officer
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
·        
Manage OVCMIS, VSLA+ MIS and maintain up-to-date
data base
·        
Prepare, compile and sort filled forms for data
entry.
·        
Check source documents/filled forms for accuracy
and completeness
·        
Perform data entry, processing and both
quantitative and qualitative analysis
·        
Offer support to the M&E Office in
maintaining M&E records and project reports
·        
Accurately enter data from source
documents/forms into online Database.
·        
Develop user-appropriate tools for proper
information and data management
·        
File/store entered forms in designated
locations/files.
·        
Perform additional assignments and
responsibilities as assigned or requested by your supervisors



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·        
The applicants for the USAID Project Monitoring
and Evaluation Assistant job placement hold a Bachelor’s Degree in social work,
social sciences, statistics, Population studies, IT, development studies and
any other relevant humanities
·        
At least two years’ experience in M&E in an
NGO setting
·        
Excellent verbal, written communication and
facilitation and analytical skills
·        
Strong computer skills (Access, Excel, SPSS,
Epidata, Epinfo, PowerPoint)
