The project supports delivery of quality HIV prevention, treatment, care and
laboratory services at selected regional referral and general hospitals.
will work closely with their mentors and SUSTAIN M&E team and during their
internship, the objective is to develop new talents in data management, M&E
and biostatistics from the pool of brilliant young graduates that are fresh
from the university, have no experience but are highly motivated and have a
passion for these three fields. This will enhance the aim of building local
capacity and shaping the future’s manpower especially in areas of; planning,
programming, biostatistics, M&E, data management, data quality assurance,
data analysis, reporting, and presentation of results through these young
graduates interested in developing their career in these three fields where
they will be trained, mentored and groomed for the same.
Experience:
The applicants for the USAID SUSTAIN Data
Internship jobs should hold degrees in Statistics, Bachelors in Quantitative
economics or Bachelors in Computer science/IT.
Excellent computer literacy skills i.e.
Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and have practical ability to use at
least one statistical analysis software) is an added advantage.
