Companies Act in December 1967, the Bank has become a household name and has
grown in leaps and bounds with a good track record among the pioneers of a
mortgage lending. National Housing & Construction Corporation, a parastatal
involved in real estate business has 5% shareholding and National Social
Security Fund (NSSF) holds 50% and the Government of Uganda holds 45%. Today,
the bank looks back with pride on the business accomplished in the mortgage
lending business. Through innovation and placing emphasis on Honesty,
Integrity, Efficiency and Customer care, Housing Finance Bank is the leader in
the mortgage, holding a 90% market share.
Job Summary: The Team
Leader, Electronic Channel-Sales will be charged with managing the direct sales
team of the bank in order to promote increased growth and usage of the Bank’s
electronic channels as well as drive uptake of new electronic and card services
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
·        
In charge of expanding the electronic channel
customer base and grow market share through promotion of all electronic channel
services and products including mobile banking, internet banking and card
services.
·        
Tasked with monitoring of the trend and movement
of growth in income generated from existing electronic channel products and
services and draw up recommendations/ remedies as appropriate
·        
In charge of the coordination of sales
promotions including Bank campaigns, exhibitions and trade shows.
·        
Render support in the development of new
products and services in line with customers’ changing needs.
·        
Mentoring and training of the sales and branch
staff on various bank products as well as obligations in line with consumer
protection guidelines and KYC requirements.
·        
Continuously train or identify external training
opportunities for retail staff to build internal capacity so as to improve the
quality of service delivery of E-banking products and services.
·        
Manage the performance and development of
assigned staff in line with the HR policies



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·        
The ideal candidate for the Housing Finance Bank
Team Leader, Electronic Channel-Sales job placement must hold an honors degree
in Business Administration, Commerce, Quantitative Economics and Business
Statistics or any other related field from a recognized University.
·        
At least three (3) years’ experience in a sales
role
·        
Previous experience in managing a team
·        
Possess excellent coordination and
organizational skills
·        
Good networking and relationship building skills
·        
Show positive attitude and flexible attitude
towards change
·        
Ability to meet deadlines and work under
pressure.
