suppliers of roofing sheets and have the widest range of roofing products in
galvanized, aluminium-zinc coated and pre-painted materials with branches in
Kampala, Arua and Tororo.
Responsibilities:
Tasked with managing the profitable sale of long
products.
Working closely with the marketing team to
define the go-to-market strategy, product
positioning and promotions.
Tasked with engaging the various stakeholders
like Architects, Building Engineers & Surveyors, Contractors and the
Distribution Channels through various fora.
Continuous new product development based on
research in Domestic as well as in Export markets.
Provide oversight and direction to Supply Chain
on product sourcing and volume requirements.
Provide input for strategic competition analysis
and product pricing.
Work in liaison with other segment managers to
ensure execution of all segment strategies for strategic products as well as
new product offerings.
Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the
sales force with technical, educational and selling skills and support
materials.
Experience:
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
degree in any Engineering field, or equivalent with commercial flair.
At least seven years of experience in selling a
similar product line.
Demonstrate high level of commercial knowledge
in long steel products (Hollow sections, Wire Products, Angles, reinforced
bars, Z-purlins, light gauge truss system etc.).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good analytical skills
