foundation “Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung” (HRNS), a not-for-profit organization
established in 2005. With the objective of promoting sustainable development,
HRNS implements hands-on projects to improve working and living conditions of
small-scale coffee farmers. Its activities concentrate on the economic and
social development of producer communities by enhancing their competitiveness,
forming and strengthening farmer organizations, creating better market linkages
and promoting access to important support services, while at the same time
promoting sustainable coffee farming and long-term use of natural resources.
Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Africa is implementing a new project in the districts
of Kibale, Kiboga and Kakumiro.
Responsibilities:
The M&E/Database Officer will primarily
implement a monitoring/data collection system for program activities
Maintain and update a program database system
Manage field assessments and surveys
Ensure data quality
Keenly analyse collected data
Report findings to program management and to the
Country M&E co-ordinator
Experience:
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree
At least five years of experience in a similar
position
Previous experience with digital data collection
tools
Solid experience with data management and
analysis
Experience with creation of Evaluation Reports
Excellent computer skills and experience with
data processing programs
Broad knowledge and understanding of IT and
general technical skills for maintaining hardware and software
