You will find and review potential suppliers of
stock items to be bought locally to ensure quality products from suppliers
under good terms, e.g. Credit. You present your review in a structured report
to enable effective decision making.

Ordering Placing (Local and
International): The jobholder will get quotes from suppliers for
orders, based on the forecast, and ensure accurate paperwork to place orders
within a risk free sourcing environment

Order Inspection, Production and
Shipping: The jobholder will work with the supplier and chosen
shipping agents to ensure no delays and correct paperwork during production,
inspection and shipping. The incumbent will also present your review of
shipping in a structured report to enable effective decision making.

The ideal candidate for the SolarNow Procurement
Officer career opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in
Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management OR Business Administration.
