furniture and general supplies, electrical, plumbing and other construction
installation activities, civil engineering, construction of buildings &
carpentry, construction of roads and bridges, construction of water projects
and mechanical works.
Job Summary: The Accounts
Assistant will carry out a full range of accounting support services in the
Finance and Admin Unit including entering financial transactions into
accounting systems, managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering
financial transactions and reconciling invoices, ensuring transparency and
efficiency in all transactions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
·        
Create and update expense reports
·        
Process reimbursement forms
·        
The jobholder will prepare bank deposits
·        
Enter financial transactions into internal
databases
·        
Check spreadsheets for accuracy
·        
Update and maintain digital and physical
financial records
·        
Issue invoices to customers and external
partners, as needed
·        
Review and file payroll documents
·        
Participate in quarterly and annual audits



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant must hold a BSc/BA in Accounting,
Finance or relevant field
·        
Any work experience as an Accounting Assistant
·        
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting
software (e.g. QuickBooks)
·        
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
·        
Familiarity with finance regulations
·        
Good math skills and the ability to spot
numerical errors
·        
Ability to strategize and solve problems
·        
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential
information
·        
Strong leadership and organizational skills
·        
Excellent communication and people skills
·        
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
·        
Extensive knowledge of all statutory legislation
and regulations
