a Nation Media Group Company is Uganda’s most influential media house,
operating The Daily Monitor, Saturday Monitor and Sunday Monitor newspapers,
93.3KFM, 90.4 Dembe FM, Nation Couriers and the Monitor Business Directory.
Job Summary: The Brand
Executive will support the daily implementation of plans as per agreed
brand/marketing strategy in a timely manner to achieve set objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
Supports implementation of all MPL brand plans.
·        
Develops implements and monitors media schedules
for brand activities for Internal and external media.
·        
Implements promotional activities and campaigns.
·        
Tasked with merchandising management for ail ABL
and BTL medium
·        
Develops and maintain database for suppliers,
agents, vendors, advertiser and readers.
·        
Supports execution of corporate PR activities.
·        
Supports new product launches.
·        
Media buys and implementation.
·        
Generate revenue from partnerships



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·        
The applicants for the MPL Brand Executive job
should hold a University Degree in Marketing or any business-related field from
an accredited institution
·        
Professional Diploma in Professional Marketing
is an added advantage
·        
A minimum of three years’ experience in brands
and communication, preferably in an FMCG company
·        
Digital savvy
·        
Functional knowledge MS office i.e. PowerPoint,
Word and Spreadsheets.
·        
Good planning and organizing skills
·        
Highly innovative and creative
·        
Excellent communication (oral & written)
skills
·        
Good interpersonal skills
·        
Personal drive for results
·        
High personal integrity
·        
Ability and willingness to learn
