will be mainly responsible for all accounting duties, such as collecting,
documenting, and recording all expense transactions, reconciliation,
maintenance, and monitoring of accounts; and compilation of data based on
knowledge of bookkeeping practices, and company financial systems. Will report to the Director and the external
accountant; as well as follow guidelines from the company headquarters.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare expense reports, budgets, and
financial statements - Undertake administrative tasks such as
administering payroll and arranging payments for invoices. - Ensure the organization’s compliance with
current taxation legislation. - Monitor company/department financial
transactions and controlling budgets. - Perform other related tasks as necessary.
Experience:
- At least three years of accounting or
bookkeeping experience. - Ability to working independently with
minimal supervision. - Previous experience working with USAID or
International donor projects - Detail oriented.
- Ability to learn on the job and prioritize
and balance multiple assignments and deadlines. - Excellent computer software skills in MS
Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
