Job Summary: The Transport
and Logistics Officer will manage the transport and logistical operations of
the Authority.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise drivers and ensure proper use of
vehicle logbooks; - Maintain the Authority fleet to ensure
each vehicle is appropriately routed, scheduled and maintained; - The jobholder will also ensure individual
drivers routinely check their vehicle and compile service reports. - Coordinate and ensure routine maintenance
and repairs with prequalified service centres; - Allocate vehicles to directorates and
ensure authorized usage; - Renew vehicle licenses and insurance,
issue fuel vouchers when the need arises; and - Perform any other duties as may be
assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the NEMA Transport
and Logistics Officer job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in
any of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Fleet Management, Transport
and Logistics Management, Public Administration from a recognized
Institution. - At least three years of relevant work
experience in fleet management in a reputable organization - Strong communication, leadership and
interpersonal skills; - Computer literacy skills
- Keen attention to detail.
