will be responsible for planning and ensuring quality and timely implementation
of the Adolescent Development (AD) core program (with Very Young Adolescent Programme
components) within the designated sub counties. S/he is expected to implement
the AD program in a manner that promotes integration with other core programs
of Sponsorship and cross cutting themes such as gender, disability, child
Protection and rights programming.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Save the
Children Senior Officer, Adolescent Development job placement should hold
a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education or
health- related discipline - A minimum of three years of related
working experience in planning and implementing Adolescent Development
(AD) or Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) programmes. - Previous exposure and experience of riding
an XL Motorcycle shall be an added advantage. - Experience of working with the Local
Government, local partners and training in either Adolescent Sexual
Reproductive Health (ASRH) with a focus on promoting adolescent friendly
service delivery in the communities. - Experience of working with local partners
and District Local Government in Child Rights Governance, Health,
Nutrition, Education, HIV/AIDS or Child Protection is an added advantage.
