• The Research Fellow will undertake
  empirical economic analysis;
• The jobholder will also contribute to
  resource mobilization and engage in commissioned work for and on behalf of
  the Centre;
• Actively engage in commissioned work for
  and on behalf of the Centre;
• Based on research findings and sound
  analysis, contribute to national policy discourse

• The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s
  degree (by coursework and research) in Economics, Agricultural Economics
  or other economics related field from a recognised University;
• Recent graduates of doctoral degrees in
  (a) will have an added advantage;
• The applicant should have at least six years
  of related working experience in relevant public or private sector
  institutions three of which should be in policy-oriented work;
• Extensive knowledge of, and ability to
  apply modern economic theory and methods;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Knowledge of current global and national
  economic issues;
• Proven high level writing skills as
  primary author in published research papers and reports;
• Previous exposure and experience working
  with large household survey data sets;
• Demonstrated ability to use STATA,
  E-Views, GAMS or GAUSS for data analysis;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and good
  communication skills;
• Self-motivation and capability to work
  under tight deadlines in a competitive environment;
• High degree of integrity.
• Age: Between 30 – 45 years
