Officer Quality Improvement- SOCY will monitor and report on all project
activities in support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work serving the poor
and vulnerable. He/She through and service-oriented approach will ensure that
the project consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards
improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve. The expected outputs of
this position are improved quality of service delivery for OVC, local
government ownership and practice improved data management at CSO and community
level, new innovations that will be documented and disseminated through various
platforms including the CRS website.
Responsibilities:
- Work in close collaboration with local
governments and communities, plan and carry out the implementation of OVC
activities using collaborative quality improvement approach in the project
districts - Institutionalize quality improvement in
local government systems, community and OVC programs at CSO level - Support and facilitate the training and
formation of OVC quality improvement teams on national quality improvement
standards for protection, care and support of OVC. - Organize and conduct routine mentoring and
coaching visits to CSOs and community QI teams to improve their ability to
identify and address challenges in OVC service delivery Support quality
improvement teams to conduct monthly data collection, analysis, use and
reporting - Support quality improvement teams to
synthesise and document quality improvement learnings and organise peer
learning sessions at district, regional and national level to share best
practices for replication - Actively participate in the development of
materials for trainings, learning sessions, harvest meetings and coaching
visits - Prepare biweekly, quarterly and annual
reports and update the technical team on the progress of quality
improvement in OVC services - Work closely with the communication team
to document success stories about the improvement interventions
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Catholic
Relief Services (CRS) Project Officer Quality Improvement- SOCY job
opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in social work and Social
Administration, Social sciences, Development studies, Public Health,
Population studies and other related fields. - Additional training and experience in
quality improvement is a MUST. - A minimum of three years of related
experience with PEPFAR funded NGOs - Quality improvement skills at community
level - Good data management skills
- Report writing skills
- Familiar with local government systems
