About US:
Korea International Cooperation (KOICA) was established in 1991 by the
South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as a governmental
organization for Official Development Assistance (ODA) to enhance the
effectiveness of South Korea’s grant aid programs for developing countries by
implementing the government’s grant aid and technical cooperation programs. In
Uganda, KOICA Uganda Office was founded in 2010 September. Since then, they
have been striving to implement proper development programs for Uganda in order
to improve local people’s living condition.

About MCH Outreach Program:
Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Official
Development Agency of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with Iganga and
Kamuli District Local Governments is implementing the MCH Outreach Program.
This is a mobile based development initiative dedicated to improving
Reproductive Maternal Newborn Adolescent and Child Health (RMNCAH) in
marginalised Ugandan communities. The endeavour is committed to changing
mind-sets about reproductive health, improving infrastructure of health
centres, building capacity of health workers and providing quality RMNCAH
services to beneficiaries.

Job Summary: The Program
Manager will oversee the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program
activities. The Program Manager will assist in collaborating with Central
Government officials, District Local Government officials, community members,
staff at Health centres and Academic Institutions, and other key Stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Tasked with daily program management
throughout the program life cycle; - In charge of monitoring and evaluating the
program; - Managing risks and issues and taking
corrective measures; - Coordinating implementation of the
program; - The incumbent will be managing and
utilizing program resources; - Managing communication between
Stakeholders; - Aligning deliverables (outputs) of the
program to its outcome; - Managing program reporting and
documentation; - Offering technical support where necessary
on other KOICA office health programs
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s
degree in Public Health (or related field) - A minimum of five years of professional
experience or equivalent experience in health, social, and/or community
services. - Excellent verbal, interpersonal and
English writing skills. - Excellent computer skills.
- Must be highly organized, demonstrate
leadership qualities and initiative.
