Administrative Officer
the BTVET Act 2008 to streamline, regulate and coordinate examinations and
awards in the Allied Health Profession in Uganda. It is composed of thirteen
(13) members drawn from the constituencies involved in Health Training, Stake
Holders and Professionals.
Secretary will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the
Executive Secretary.
- Tasked with providing assistance and
support to the Executive Secretary in all organizational undertakings - Opening files for keeping classified
information and closing when due. - Routing communications/documents to and
from the Executive Secretary’s Office - Maintaining the Executive Secretary’s
appointment schedule by planning, scheduling and coordinating meetings,
conferences, and travel within and out of the country. - Welcome the guests and clients to the
Office of the Executive Secretary and responds to any inquiries relating
to the Executive Secretary’s Office - Controlling access to the Executive
Secretary’s Office so that time is utilized efficiently. - Producing the required documents as may be
requested by the Executive Secretary. - Tasked with handling confidential matters
with discretion - Perform any other duties assigned by the
Executive Secretary
Experience:
- The applicant should be a Ugandan who
possesses an Honours Bachelors degree in Secretarial and Office Management
or a related field. - At least three years’ experience in
Secretarial or a related field. - Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
skills - Good prioritization skills
- Sensitive to confidential information and
judgmental skills - Computer application and shorthand skills
- High degree of integrity
- Good team player
