under the provisions of Article 163 of the Constitution of the Republic of
Uganda. Its mandate, functions and powers are enshrined in the National Audit
Act, 2008. The main function of the OAG is to audit and report on the Public
Accounts of Uganda and all Public offices or bodies and/or organization
established by an Act of Parliament.
The Assistant Receptionist will be responsible assist the Receptionist for
performing the following duties;
- Welcoming and directing visitors to
appropriate contacts. - Confirming appointments for guests to meet
office staff. - Sorting and distributing mails to
respective recipients. - Keeping the reception area tidy and clean
- Monitoring visitors’ access and maintaining
security awareness. - Answering incoming calls and respond to
public inquires. - Performing any other duties as assigned by
the Public Relations Officer.
Experience:
- The applicant should be a Ugandan who
possesses a Diploma in Office and Information Management, Tourism,
Secretarial Studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized
Institution. - Age: Below 30 years
including;
- Detailed typed curriculum vitae which
clearly supports the competencies required above - Certified copies of academic
qualifications, testimonials and professional training certificates. - Names of three (3) referees and their
contacts - A recent passport size photograph
which can be obtained from OAG registry, Audit House
through their Heads of Departments
