Accountant
established in 1995. Our primary mission is to improve health of society
through strengthening collaboration between the traditional and biomedical
health care systems through advocacy, research, capacity development,
partnerships and service-linkages.
PROJECT:
(WEI/B) the financial support from USAID are implementing a BETTER OUTCOMES
PROJECT for Children and Youth in Eastern and Northern Uganda. The purpose of
the project is to improve access to comprehensive services across the continuum
of HIV care and to help vulnerable children and care givers prevent and respond
to HIV, violence and other adversities that impact child wellbeing in Northern
Uganda, including the District of Lira, Dokolo, and Kole.
Responsibilities:
- Tasked with receiving and welcoming
visitors at the offices, taking applications , invoices, and any other
documents as may be delivered - Support the Senior Accountant in
compiling, validating the beneficiaries names and contacts. - Responsible for maintaining the reception
area in a well-organized - Managing communication in and out of the
office and scheduling appointments. - Ensuring proper filling system at the
office; set up and update administrative files - Writing and sharing minutes during staff
meetings - Proper management and maintenance of
assets, management of inventory, stocks and monthly reconciliations. - Management of store supplies and
stationary stores ensuring proper control and accountability as per THETA
policies - Maintain an up to date stores ledger
- Verification of items delivered to the
store - Any other duty that may be assigned.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the USAID Finance
and Administrative Assistant job placement must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
in Business Administration with accounting or finance major from
recognized institution or related field; - A minimum of two years’ experience in
financial and administration management in a reputable NGO - Good computer literacy
letter, updated CV with referees from previous employers and day-time contacts,
copies of academic documents and certificates by email or hand deliver to,
