Job Summary: The Field
Supply Chain Coordinator will support the Head of Supply Chain to improve the
capacity and performance of Supply Chain function and staff in SCI field
offices on a daily. The position holder will be responsible for providing
technical support at all times

Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Save the
Children Field Supply Chain Coordinator job placement should hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/ Supply Chain or related area - Membership of Professional body in Supply
Chain - A minimum of five years Supply Chain
management level experience in Supply Chain in the NGO sector - Prior exposure and experience in
development and implementation of efficient Supply Chain systems, policies
and procedures and technical experience/training in specific areas of
Supply Chain - Proven experience in all technical areas
of Supply Chain operations including procurement, transport/distribution,
warehousing and stock management, fleet management, asset management,
communications, and security - Previous experience of working with local
partners and District Local Government . - Strong analytical skills and strategic
planning abilities. - Computer literacy and excellent
documentation skills are a must. - Availability and willingness to work extra
hours during times of humanitarian responses. - Ability to intervene with crisis management
or troubleshooting as necessary. - Highly developed interpersonal and
communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching - Availability and willingness to work extra
hours during times of humanitarian responses Computer literacy.
