About US:
National Curriculum Development Centre is a corporate body under the
Ministry of Education and Sports. It is responsible for inter-alliance
development of curricula and related materials for various level of education
(i.e. Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary), organising capacity
building courses for stakeholders on curricula and matters related to
curriculum development.

Job Summary: The Marketing
Officer will be tasked with enhancing access to various stakeholders for all
instructional materials and services provided by the Centre.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Mentoring and supervising sales staff.
- Formulating and implementing integrated
and comprehensive marketing strategies - Managing the sales distribution,
advertising and Marketing functions. - Moving extensively in order to meet the
quantitative sales targets. - Studying the Marketing needs of the Centre
and giving guidance thereto. - Initiating new ideas concerning the Centre’s
products and services - Work closely with organizations that are
instrumental in meeting the Marketing function of the Centre - Making monthly reports to the Finance
Secretary. - Perform any other duty as assigned by the
supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Marketing Option) or its
equivalent from a recognized university. A postgraduate qualification in
Marketing is an added advantage. - Computer literacy is mandatory
- The applicant should have served for two
years as a Marketing Officer in a reputable organization. - Age: Between 25-45 years
