Administrative Officer
the BTVET Act 2008 to streamline, regulate and coordinate examinations and
awards in the Allied Health Profession in Uganda. It is composed of thirteen
(13) members drawn from the constituencies involved in Health Training, Stake
Holders and Professionals.
Desk Officer will provide a conducive environment for guests and proper
management of the reception desk.
Responsibilities:
- Tasked with welcoming and directing
visitors to the appropriate Offices - Confirming appointments for visitors to
meet Office Staff - Sorting and routing mails to the
respective Offices - Ensuring that the reception area is tidy
and appeasing - In charge of answering incoming calls and
responding to inquiries. - Tasked with receiving, registering and
classifying records - Handling confidential matters with
discretion - Perform any other duties assigned by the
supervisor from time to time.
Experience:
- The applicant for the Receptionist/Front
Desk Officer should be a Ugandan holding an Honours Bachelors degree in
any of the following disciplines: Office and Information Management, Human
Resource Management, Secretarial Studies or a related field. - One year of relevant working experience in
a public or reputable private sector institution. - Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
skills - Good prioritization skills
- Sensitive to confidential information and
judgmental skills - Computer application and shorthand skills
- High degree of integrity
- Good team player
